It was the year 1971 when the visionary Sri Yash Pal Agarwal started the business of steel Wire Rope, Fittings & accessories at 89, Netaji Subhas Road, Kolkata - 700001 without a penny in hand. It all just started with the supply business, which slowly & steadily spread out with dealers all over India including each & every States.

in 1986 aiongwith the wholesale business, a showroom was added at 4, Raja Woodmunt Street, Kolkata -700001 which latter became the Head .Office as it shifted from the Netaji Subhas Road Office. Today it is one of the leading showrooms in the market.

In 1991, a workshop was planned for manufacturing Wire Rope Slings in the heart of the market & very close to our establishments. It immediately started off & it has been manufacturing Wire Rope Slings for all these years.

Hence Mr. Girish Agarwal, son of Mr. Yash Pal Agarwal joined the business, with the target to increase the business manifolds on one hand & maintaining the already big business on the other hand.

The customers increased to direct Consumers, Industries, Government and a whole list of them, even participating in open tenders and maintaining the showroom as well as the dealers local & outstation.

The product list increased from Wire Rope Fittings to Wire Rope & Slings. Chains & SUngs to Electric Winches, Wire Rope Hoists, with further targets towards EOT & HOT Cranes.

From the last couple of years there is high concentration towards imports & exports with very good results in last vears.
Further targets are towards developing a complete in house manufacturing state of the art facility.
